Underwriter's Laboratories (UL)
Phelps Dodge is the only Philippine building wire manufacturer that has passed the stringent standards of Underwriter's Laboratories, the undisputed leader in U.S. product safety and certification. Right now, Phelps Dodge is the only local manufacturer that can produce UL-listed wires for specific projects.

The International Organization also accredits our quality system for Standardization, the world's largest developer of standards. In fact, Phelps Dodge was the first wire and cable manufacturer in the Philippines to acquire such accreditation in 1996.
